High-Performance Spark Plug Electrode Materials
MS-MARSHAL keeps its long-term focus on the research and development of high-performance spark plug electrode materials and has built a complete and diversified product range for different ignition needs.
The lineup covers a wide range of reliable electrode solutions, including nickel-copper clad, platinum, ruthenium, iridium and rhodium types. Nickel-copper clad electrodes offer fast heat transfer and clear cost advantages, which make them the preferred economical replacement choice for ordinary passenger cars and general small-displacement engines.
Precious metal electrodes made from platinum, iridium, ruthenium and rhodium have excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemical corrosion in harsh engine environments. These materials allow the making of ultra-fine electrode tips, which help focus ignition energy and keep consistent spark gaps over long service periods. They are well suited for heavy-duty working conditions, including turbocharged engines, hybrid powertrain systems and high-performance engine tuning applications.
Every electrode design goes through strict bench durability evaluation and repeated heat shock testing in our well-equipped in-house laboratory. Advanced and mature laser welding processes ensure strong and stable metal bonding between different material layers. This broad range of electrode choices meets different budget needs and working conditions for both OE clients and overseas aftermarket buyers, delivering precisely matched ignition solutions to customers around the world.
